Janet Rusforth
Paralegal
Janet Rushforth is an experienced estate planning paralegal who works closely with our attorneys and clients in the preparation of trusts, wills, and other essential estate planning documents. She earned her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego and holds a degree in Anthropology from Pitzer College and a degree in Biology from California State University, Fullerton. Her diverse academic background brings a thoughtful, analytical perspective to her work and strengthens her research and problem-solving skills.
Janet is known for her meticulous attention to detail, calm presence, and commitment to guiding clients through the planning process with clarity and care. She has particular experience working with terminally ill clients and their families, helping ensure that final wishes are thoughtfully documented and that loved ones feel supported during difficult transitions.
Outside of the office, Janet values time with family and friends. While she doesn’t have a dog of her own, she is always happy to stop and greet one — a small reflection of her naturally warm and approachable nature.
